Hommerson Netherlands Casino – The Netherlands – 70M² curveLED controlled by MADRIX dvi

http://www.madrix.com and http://www.lagotronics.nl – The Hommerson Netherlands Casino is located next to the Palace Promenade at the Boulevard of Scheveningen in The Netherlands. In the past few months, a unique and spectacular curveLED® videowall installation has been introduced at the Netherlands Casino in Scheveningen.

At the seeside of the building, 6 semicircular arched windows, approximately 12 square metres large, are equipped with a customised curveLED® video curtain. The curveLED® modules are produced especially for the project to fit the semicircular shape of the windows as efficiently as possible. Where a conventional (square shaped) solution would contain useless parts in the videowall, the curveLED® system allows to create an exact fitting screen. The total size of the videowall is appr. 70m2 is controlled by MADRIX dvi. The installation was done by the fieldcrew of Lagotronics BV.

MADRIX is a professional LED lighting controller based on the windows platform. MADRIX supports a lot of good-known industry standards, such as DMX512, Art-Net II, the Philips ColorKinetics and Insta/Robe protocols, and DVI output. The application supports pixel mapping and is both an effect generator and media server with outstanding capabilities to display unique effects. MADRIX can be used alone, or along with any DMX/MIDI console or desk on the market.
