Sample Transcript:in that location are an incredible number of money management tips out in that location for playing slots, but what I’m going to share with you is a system that I’ve come to call the “Piles method”. It has been by far the most successful one for me, and for most of the slot players I’ve personally taught it to. Just like the name, it involves putting your money into piles, and keeping runway of those piles as you play. in that location are going to be 3 piles we’re going to be working with. You can actually physically separate the money if you think it would help, but you don’t have to as long as you can keep runway of how much you have in each pile.

The first pile is your bankroll, which is the money you’re prepared to gamble with… or in other words, prepared to lose. This is the pile you’ll employment to feed the machine, and the only pile you’ll employment for that. The second pile is your winnings pile. This is the money you’ve won, no matter how little your win is. Each time you win something, anything, it goes into the winnings pile. Don’t move money from this pile into your bankroll until your bankroll is empty, and and so only as instructed. This is important. Your 3rd pile is your untouchable pile. This is money that you’ve put away from your winnings that you testament not touching under any circumstances. I like to call the 3rd pile my sock, because it reminds me that I’m socking away some money. Never ever take money out of your sock. This is money that you testament go home with unless you have an emergency. Note that seeing a machine that you just know is a winner does not constitute an emergency.

Basically it goes like this. You start out with a set amount of money you want to play with and you call that your bankroll, let’s say it’s $100. As you play that $100 into the machine, if you win something back, anything, you put the winnings into your winnings pile. Keep in mind that your bankroll NEVER increases because of your winnings! That’s important. Don’t worry, you’ll have a chance to play with that money later, but not yet. So if you bet $10 and win $5 back, your bankroll is now $90 and your winnings pile is $5. Continue playing that way until your bankroll is gone. Once it is, you can now take your winnings pile… say it has $65 in it, and split it to create a new bankroll and your sock. I usually advise at least %10 of your winnings go to your sock, but you can choose however much you like. Just be sure to put some of your winnings away. So in this case we’ll move $50 into our new bankroll and put $15 into our sock. We’re now guaranteed to go home with at least $15, and we can keep playing with the $50. You can continue this way until you run out of bankroll, but never touching your sock.
