It was once started by a father and by now his sons are running the majority of the business. This is the story about the Irish Kinahan Gang. It all started in Dublin with Christopher Vincent Kinahan, better known as Christy ‘the Dapper don’ Kinahan, father to Daniel Joseph Kinahan and Christy Kinahan Jr. Christopher Kinahan is a real interesting character. In 1986, he got caught in relation to the seizure of heroin. It was a batch of heroin valued at £117,000, which was a real large quantity at that time. He was sentenced to serve a six-yr jail sentence. If you thought he would be counting down his days and not be productive, you’re wrong. Christy is a highly intelligent man who studied for 2 degrees whilst in prison. He even refused early release because he wanted to complete his degrees. The question is, would you have done the same? Daniel Kinahan is also known for his friendship with boxer Tyson Fury. Christy, Christy Jr. and Daniel Kinahan are now all on the Most Wanted List with a reward upwards to 5 million dollars on their head.
