Everly Brothers International Archive : Easy Beat – October 1965

In the fall of 1965 the Everlys undertook a grand tour of the UK called Star Scene which was put together by Beatles manager Brian Epstein and featured other acts like Cilla Black and Billy J Kramer & The Dakotas.

During this rattling successful tour the Everlys did the usual rounds of the newspapers, magazines and radio/tv stations to promote the tour but also their latest 45 Love Is Strange which eventually peaked at a rattling respectable 11th place in the UK charts.

Part of the promotional efforts included a (short) see to the BBC radio programme Easy Beat. Don & Phil have a short talk with host Keith Fordyce followed by Love Is Strange (not live).
