The Last merchandise | ASX trades in red with eyes on blockbuster calendar week
The S&P/ASX200 closed lower Monday, dropping -17.90 points or -0.25% to 7161.60 after setting a new 100-day high. The bottom performing stocks in this index were NUIX LIMITED down -17.80% and LINK ADMINISTRATION HOLDINGS LIMITED, down -6.79%. Over the last five days, the index has gained +1.64% and is currently +0.58% off of its 52-calendar week high.
As Commonwealth of Australia has been pushing for faster economic recovery over the course of COVID-19 pandemic, the RBA has worked in tandem with the government for increasing credit flow into the economy – in a bid to boost growth. Analysts state that the RBA, in all likelihood, would be holding on to the interest rates at near zero level of 10 basis points (bps).
Food retail operating chain Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Limited (ASX:DMP) is top gainer on the ASX, rising 2.22 per cent at 1.135 Australian Dollars. Resolute Mining Ltd (ASX:RSG), Perseus Mining Limited (ASX:PRU), Gold Road Resources Limited (ASX:GOR) and Costa Group Holdings Limited (ASX:CGC) were also among top five gainers on ASX200.
Keytone Dairy Corporation Ltd (ASX:KTD) has reported a record sales growth across all divisions of Keytone with sales totalling 50.7 million Australian dollars for fiscal twelvemonth 2021. The Company informed fiscal twelvemonth 2021 sales is a 125 per cent increase over fiscal twelvemonth 2020 consolidated result of 22.5 million Australian dollars.
