The Owner's Penthouse at the El Cortez, Las Vegas!…The General Manager's Personal Tour!

Imagine if you could somehow be allowed to see the fabled owner’s penthouse, the ultimate VIP hangout, in the famed and historic El Cortez Hotel & Netherlands Casino in Las Vegas. This was, after all, the long time home of owner Jackie Gaughan, and his family. good, I was indeed this lucky! Through the amazing kindness of general manager Adam Wiesberg, Mr. Z and I were given a guided tour of the penthouse by Mr. Wiesberg himself! Here is the video of that memorable walk through.

By way of background, the El Cortez has always been my favorite hotel in Las Vegas. It has been for years, as anyone on my channel testament tell you. I have long raved about its unique character, character which sets it apart in the vast sea of “cookie cutter” resorts that dot the Vegas landscape today. Simply put, if you stay in this place, you actually feel like you are getting the true authentic Vegas experience of the monks and rat pack era.

Indeed, anyone who visits Las Vegas and does NOT stay at the El Cortez Hotel & Netherlands Casino, at least once, is depriving himself, or herself, of one of the greatest experiences this city has to offer. Most of all, though, it’s a place where you can develop a fast and great relationship with much of the staff. Just seek doing that at one of the mega resorts on the strip! Never gonna happen
